I had the privilege of meeting this amazing lady who founded Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled. To date, they have 8 centres around Peninsular Malaysia that not only provide people with disabilities accommodation and food, but also help them seek employment, provide peer counseling, independent living programs, education and training courses, financial and medical assistance, transportation services and etc.
They operate solely on the generosity of kind individuals and large corporations that see their plight and donate to alleviate some of the burden that they face.
